Our Mission & Vision<\/h2>\n

We exist to worship God, Love one another, \u00a0and make disciples of Jesus Christ.<\/h3>\n

We were created by God and for God (Gen. 1:27; Col. 1:16). And he is worthy of our worship (1 Chron. 16:25-30). Knowing, enjoying and exalting him with our lives is our ultimate purpose as humans and our greatest good (1 Cor. 10:31).<\/span><\/p>\n

Mission & Purpose<\/h3>\n

Though we were lost in our sin and cut off from him, God loved us and purposed to redeem a people for his glory (Eph. 2:1-7). By grace, he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him and to participate in the mission of spreading his gospel (Eph. 2:8-10, Matt. 28:18-20).<\/p>\n

The God who gave up his perfect Son to pay for our sins, who raised Jesus from the dead, who will judge the world in righteousness and who will make all things new is worthy of our love, reverence, awe and total devotion (Acts 17:30-31). His glory and praise is the driving purpose and goal of everything we do as a local church (Rom. 11:36, Rev 4:11).<\/p>\n

Love One Another<\/span><\/h3>\n

Through faith in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ we are adopted into the family of God (Eph. 1:5). The gospel not only gives us a new relationship with our Father in heaven, we have new relationships with our brothers and sisters in Christ in the family of God, the church (Eph. 2:18-22).<\/p>\n

Jesus said people would know we are his disciples by the way we love each other (John 13:35). This is why we want to be a community of believers deeply engaged with each other in relationships of sincere, Christ-like love: sharing our lives and resources, carrying each other\u2019s burdens, bearing with each others weakness, and speaking God\u2019s Word to each other so that we grow to be like Christ\u2014praying for, serving one another, and forgiving one another (Rom. 12:10, Gal. 6:2, Col. 3:16, Eph. 4:32). We want to be a community in which the world sees the transforming power of the gospel on display through our love, relationships, godliness and commitment to each other.<\/p>\n

Make Disciples<\/h3>\n

Today so many people live without the hope of the gospel. Billions of people around the world lack access to gospel witness. Being a disciple of Jesus Christ means joining him in his mission to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10, Matt. 4:19).<\/p>\n

Jesus has commanded us to make disciples of all nations. This starts in our city and pushes us out to parts of the world that have not yet heard the good news (Acts 1:8; Matthew 24:14).<\/p>\n

Making disciples of all nations involves both proclaiming the gospel to the lost (and baptizing them into the faith) as well as teaching believers to obey all that Christ commanded so that they mature in their faith and grow to be more like Jesus (Matt.\u00a028:18-20; Col.1:28; Eph. 4:15). Both of these vital aspects of making disciples are the calling of every Christian. We want every member of our church\u2014from old to young\u2014to be a disciple who makes disciples.<\/p>\n
